Product Concepts/Annotated Sketches
Concept Test Survey
Nearly all of the respondents said that they needed a shower on the go at times. The people who said no claimed they didn't participate in outdoor activities. Most people preferred to store the product in the trunk or on the back of their vehicle. Concept 1 was the most popular design because of its ease of transportation. Lastly, most respondents said they would probably purchase the product if it was priced between $100 and $250.
Poster Walk
After conducting the Poster Walk, it seemed that there were two main concerns about the design; the size/ease of transportation and the ability to keep water hot or cold. Classmates were questioning the size of the product because you need it to hold a large amount of water, so it could be big and heavy to carry around. Some people expressed concern that the tank wouldn't be able to keep water cold for days, or couldn't heat up the water enough for a shower. Also, the position of the faucet on the tank was questioned. Our classmates liked the handle and wheel aspect so that you can drag the tank behind you when you are traveling to a campsite or music festival. Overall, we got some good feedback and our class seemed to come to a consensus that our design would be convenient and useful for outdoor activities.

Final Design Sketch
Winning Design
Our final design has two pipes stacked on top of each other to allow for easy packing and transportation. The top pipe will hold showering water and be a black color to absorb heat and heat up the water inside. The top pipe will also have a hose for showering, a water fill plug, and a plug for hooking up an air pump to pressurize the water. The pipe on the bottom will be an insulated pipe to hold clean, cold drinking water. This pipe will have a faucet to allow for easy pouring and drinking. This pipe is located on the bottom so that it will be hidden from the sun's rays and keep it cool. The overall design is also equipped with a handle on the top as well as wheels on the bottom for easy transportation off of the vehicle.
