Narrative
The style of house that I chose to build was Georgian style. The main features of a Georgian house are a symmetrical placement of windows and doors on the front façade, two stories, and a side-gabled roof. I find value in this particular architectural style because I like large houses, and I like the window placement on this style of house. The only feature I was not able to replicate is the side-gabled roof. This is because I didn't plan on how to do it until the last minute, and I didn't have the proper materials to make it work.

Conclusion Questions
1) This style of architecture became popular in the 1700s and 1800s, when the colonies had a desire to advance their buildings.
2) This house is a large two story building, so there is lots of room for families and their belongings.
3) The principle of design best represented in this architecture is balance. The house is perfectly symmetrical because of the placement of the doors and windows.
4) Overall, building this house was an enjoyable experience, but I did not do a good job. It was fun building houses with my classmates and seeing how each other's would turn out. But my house was rough. I couldn't cut a straight edge, and I didn't plan the roof well enough to make it the same as a regular Georgian house. I was disappointed with my build after I hot glued it together, but after I painted it and added the windows and door, I don't think it was that bad. Now it is a Georgian house with a twist since I messed up on the roof. In conclusion, I would do this project again, but I would plan better.
