Decision Matrix
Develop a Solution
Construct and Test Prototype
Evaluate the Solution
Besides having to change our build so that we could finish on time, we didn't have many modifications. One modification that we made was making a longer platform for the ball to roll up. When we tested our game, we realized that it was rather short and it was hard for the ball to build up speed. We would've made the platform even longer, but we didn't have enough time for that. Another modification that we made was using tape instead of hot glue on the platform. This way, the ball would have a smoother path traveling up to the ramp.
Present the Solution
In conclusion, this project didn't exactly turn out the way we wanted it to, but it was alright. Originally, Gavin and I wanted our game to include ball returners, a screen, and full rings around the holes. We didn't manage our time as well as we should have, but part of that may have been because I was absent one day of building. We worked on building our game up to the last minute. When I was there, we had great teamwork while constructing our game. If someone else were to build our cardboard skeeball game, I would recommend that they use something to make sure that all of the holes are the same size. We just cut freely, so some of the holes were a little rough or not the same size. Also, I would recommend that they make a long platform for the ball to roll on. Ours was a bit short, so it was hard to roll the balls up it.
